New Casino Software Trend
August 8, 2010
There is a new casino software trend many online casinos are instituting more and more frequently. Since online casinos began in 1997, new casino trends have reached the online gambling market like mobile casinos, live casinos (with live dealers), but I don’t think that I was expecting a new casino software trend.
New casino trends tend to be easy to implement (and for players in whichever market to adapt and welcome them happily) and this new casino software trend is no exception. Basically, since players are always looking for variety in casino games at the online casinos they play at, and since many casinos use the big name software companies (like Microgaming, Playtech, Rival Gaming, 888, etc.), so many of the games seem to overlap even if players are signed up to multiple casinos.
If the online slots and casino games seem to repeat themselves due to using the same software, until now, an online casino could distinguish itself through its casino bonuses. But even this, now, is losing its appeal with players. So now comes this new casino software trend, which is simply this: casinos are separating their casino games into different categories (like Casino, Games, Poker, etc.) so they can offer 2-5 different softwares under one website.
Many of the online casinos that are also sportsbooks have done this new casino software trend already, like Betfred and Paddy Power, and now some plain old casinos are following suit. This new casino software trend personally appeals to me(as well as the great, older mobile casinos and live casinos trends), because it makes me feel like the casinos are trying to make and effort and really trying to give their players as many choices as possible. And when a casino goes out of their way for me, I feel more inclined to spend my money there!
